            The musicians of [1] Kilo of Black Bondage were united
            for the first time in 2003 during the I.D.E.A.L festival
            at the Lieu Unique in Nantes, France. Then, moving from
            stage to stage in France and Europe, they enriched and
            cultivated an original musical material made from
            evolving textures, sonic landscapes – more so than songs
            – that borrow from rock, dub, hip-hop and electronica,
            responding to the texts which are dark as they are
            precious. The album "Fear The Windows" is the
            crystallization of this musical evolution.
            AKA_BONDAGE Since 1996, with his beginning at the centre
            of Osaka Bondage, Nicolas Marmin has created a musical
            universe using electronic manipulation, rhythmic
            deviations and experimental sonorities. He has released
            several albums, participated on a number of compilations
            and has collaborated with musicians as diverse as Eric M
            or dDamage. Recently he has joined stage with the group
            Colder (Output recordings) as bassist, and is a regular
            participant with Damo Suzuki's Network (the legendary
            singer of Can) with the French Doctors. Nicolas also
            plays with the Italian quartet Permanent Fatal Error. And
            finally, he is one of the animators of the radio program
            ‘Epsilonia’, probably the oldest show consecrated to
            experimental music on Radio Libertaire in Paris.
            BLACK SIFICHI Equally at ease with a microphone or a
            mixing table, his stories often colored with black humor
            have made him a reference in the world of ‘spoken word’.
            Urban poet, the tone of his voice is reminiscent of those
            of Ken Nordine, Tom Waits or James Mason and the delivery
            has been compared to those of Tricky or Saul Williams. He
            is equally a DJ and the producer of the radio program
            ‘Audiometric’, which is broadcast in Paris, Montpellier
            and Limoges. We have heard him on a multitude of albums
            notably with The Black Dog, Brain Damage, Norscq (Super
            Stoned), Lena, Vista Le Vie, Negative Stencil, Bernd
            Friedmann... He is also the charismatic singer of the
            group 'Tempsion' who’s album "Rectifier" (DVD + CD) has
            just been released, and an active collaborator with the
            group Ez3kiel.
            SOMEKILOS Hugues Villette - founder of the fanzine "18,
            jardins" (18 Gardens), member of the group My Own (album
            released on Ultraviolet, several vinyls, plus the split
            EPs with Hint and Sun Plexus). Somekilos is presently
            working on his latest ambient project 2Kilos &More. For
            [1] Kilo of Black Bondage he shifted between electronic
            composition and assuring the role as drummer.
