        Book Collector is a program that helps you catalog your personal
        library. This organizer software runs on Windows 95, 98, NT4, ME,
        XP and 2000.  An Apple Mac OS X edition is in development (ETA Q3
        2005). 


        Catalog your collection
        Adding items to the database is quick and easy, just type the
        author and title or scan its barcode with your barcode scanner to
        search by ISBN. This software will automatically download all
        data (author, title, publisher, genre, etc... including the cover
        image). The information is retrieved from various book database
        sites on the internet (like the Amazon, Powell's and Barnes &
        Nobles book catalogs, the Library of Congres book database and 12
        other national library databases). 

        View and search the book database
        Once you have added a number of books to the inventory, you can
        view it in the main screen. It is possible to show a simple list
        of all books, but you can also organize your library by author,
        publisher or genre, etc.. using the automatic folder feature. All
        lists can be sorted instantly, just by clicking the column
        headers or by using the Sort Order screen. You can sort on any
        field, e.g. alphabetically on title or author, or sorted on
        release date or purchase date. Use the Quick Search feature to
        find all books that contain the word you type, or use the
        Advanced Filter command to search in specific fields, even
        multiple fields at once. 

        Print lists
        Lists can be printed in any way you want. The Print feature lets
        you choose which books to print, which fields to show and in what
        order to list them. Printed lists are ideal for insurance
        purposes, or to take with you to the store. The Pro edition of
        the program also includes a number of templates for other nicely
        formatted print-outs. The flexible XML/XSL-based template system
        lets you create your own layouts too (requires XSL programming

        Export your book catalog (Pro edition only)
        Using the Export to HTML feature you can generate HTML pages of
        your inventory, for use on your homepage or website. You can
        create one index page listing all books (with one row per book),
        optionally linked to detail pages with one page per item. If you
        want to be able to use your book data in other programs, use the
        Export to XML or Export to Text functions. A special export
        feature is included to export your database for use in the
        ListPro software on your PDA (PocketPC or Palm). 

        Integrated Loan Manager (Pro edition only)
        The built-in Loan Management system allows you to keep track of
        books you loan to friends, family, etc... Just log which ones you
        loaned and to whom and you will always know where your missing
        items are.

        Changes: 
        - Improved CueCat support:
	        - Improved CueCat handling in main screen
	        - Improved CueCat handling in Add Automatically screens
	        - CueCat can now also be used in the Edit Book screen
                  (automatically fills barcode field then)
        - Templates:
	        - New BkC5 Compact template, for previewing in Add
                  Automatically screens, in Blue and Black styles

	        - New "Gray" style for Book Collector 5 template

        Fixed:
        - Filter screen: 
	        - Filtering on Price and Current Value fields did not
                  work correctly ("value is invalid" errors)
	        - Filtering on Date fields did not work correctly
          - Filtering on empty values on picklist fields did not work
            correctly.
	        - When saving a filter, leading or trailing spaces in
                  values got lost
	        - Several user interface issues in the filter screen
        - Export to iPod: when exporting including status indicator, the
          lists were not split correctly.
        - Sort title generation of person names could result in leading
          space in first name field
        - Add Automatically:
	        - Sort Title was always filled in, even when exactly the
                  same as the Title
	        - Wizard Mode: after adding then editing the main screen
                  did not correctly select the added item
        - Main screen:
	        - Reassign index fields had no effect while in folder
                  view
	        - Changing the sort order sometimes required two column
                  header clicks
	        - Closing application from Windows taskbar while
                  customizing toolbar caused an Access Violation
          - When selecting multiple items 'Edit Book' was still enabled
            in right click menu
        - Edit Book:
	        - Contents tab now remembers column widths
	        - Price fields now only accept valid price values
	        - Characters lists didn't display scrollbar when column
                  sizes exceeded list width
	        - Changes to the order of the Character list didn't get
                  saved
        - Loans screen: filter text was cleared when pressing the filter
          button

        precracked exe from the Crack folder into Book Collector Pro's
        installed folder, overwriting the existing file.  You now have a
